Fan failure

I work up yesterday to find my internet connection had gone away. On checking, I found that the crappy PC running OpenBSD that I use for a router was dead. I assumed it was the power supply, and went and bought a spare between lectures. On fitting it, it still didn't work, meaning I now have one more power supply than I need. and watching closely, I saw the processor fan speeding up and slowing down. I took it out, wandered down to the computer shop and asked for a replacement. They laughed, so I wandered out and asked Dan for his advice. He dunked it in the the engineering magic fluid bath, and its alarmly clean. However, the box still falls over every now and again, so I'm thinking about a new one.
